Sport:Chelsea To swap Bakayoko In Deal, To Get The World-best Goalscoring Midfielder
Frank Lampard has a pretty young impressive squad at his disposal this season. Despite his inability to sign new players last summer, he still did well to give the Chelsea academy products, that enjoyed a successful loan spell last season, the chance to showcase their talent in the first team.
They have repaid the faith Frank Lampard placed on them this season, by putting in their best on the field and show that they deserve to be in the team.
The transfer ban has been lifted, and Frank Lampard would have the opportunity to bring in new players in the summer.
Chelsea have already wrapped up a deal for Ajax attacker Hakim Ziyech, he would be linking up with his new team mates at the beginning of next season.
The major part of the team that Frank Lampard would be looking at reinforcing in the summer, is the striker and a goal scoring midfielder.
The midfielders at Chelsea have failed to deliver goals from midfield positions, with the likes of Jorginho, Kante, and Kovacic, not having the goals instincts. Mason Mount has been the only midfielder to score six goals for Chelsea this season from midfielder.
According to reports, it is believed that Chelsea are willing to use Bakayoko in a swap deal to get Lazio midfielder, Milinkovic Savic.
Lazio have interest in Chelsea’s midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, it is believed that Chelsea would use that as an advantage to strike a swap deal with Lazio, which would include Bakayoko plus cash for Milinkovic Savic.
Savic is considered as one of the best goal scoring midfielder. He has established himself as a complete midfielder, as he blends the traditional attacking movement, positional sense, and finishing ability of an attacking midfielder, with the height and physicality of a target man or defensive midfielder; as such, he also is effective in the air, and is capable of scoring goals with his head as well as either foot, by making late runs from behind into the penalty area, or striking from distance.
He also possesses good technique, tactical intelligence, vision, and passing ability, despite his lack of pace, as well as tenacity and an excellent defensive work-rate, which enables him to help out at both ends of the pitch, carry the ball, and start attacking plays after winning back possession.
Milinkovic Savic would be a great addition to this Chelsea side, if they can complete the signing of the Lazio midfielder.
