ABOUT MC FREEDOM
MC Freedom is the stage name of one of the foremost entertainer in the historical town of Badagry. He carved a niche for himself, as a master compere, hypeman and comedian which is a rare feat to achieve in the entertainment industry. Over a decade ago, he came into the compere business in order to change the narrative of anchoring events.
In a bid to align with the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) 1, 2 & 9, MC Freedom became a talent scout. As such, he discovers talents, harnesses them and gives them platform for expression by organizing different events where these talents can come
to limelight.
As the first hypeman to emerge from the historical town of Badagry, MC Freedom equipped his protégés in the hyping business and assigned them to various outlets thereby fulfilling the SDGs 1, 2 & 9. Using his
registered organization (Freedom Founders Entertainment & Services), MC Freedom has given over Two Hundred and Fifty (250) talents various platforms of expression.
Between 2015 and 2018 (4 years), he ensured that ten (10) upcoming talents in Badagry get a shot at the One Lagos Fiesta (OLF) stage by
lobbying for artistes’ performances for eight (8) days. In 2019, he assisted the staff from the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and
Culture to bring ten (10) upcoming talents and five (5) popular talents in Badagry to the Greater Lagos Festival stage for seven (7) days.
Under the auspices of Freedom Founders Entertainment & Services, MC Freedom and his crew organized one of the biggest event in the history of entertainment in Badagry tagged
“Badagry Got Talent (BDGGT) Competition” where raw talents were discovered, refined and brought to limelight.
After the competition, twenty (20) finalists were compensated with fifty thousand naira (N50,000) each by Hon. Solomon Saanu Bonu, Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture. MC Freedom is a multi-award winning MC cum comedian, hypeman and entertainer.
