Kai Havertz Compared To Zidane
Chelsea’s Young Star Kai Havertz have been compared to Znadine Zidane by German legend Lothar Matthaus following his great performance against Portugal in their second match of the Euro 2020.
According to the German Legend, Kotha Matthaus he stated:
‘I compare him to Zidane in terms of skills and anticipating a situation,’ he said. ‘Zidane didn’t seem quick, but he was when he hit the ball. Havertz can do that too.
‘He (Havertz) has a good eye, good ball control, good positional play and fine technique.’
‘Havertz plays intelligently and uses his body well,’ Matthaus added. ‘If you look at the talent then the coach would have to say Havertz always plays.
‘He has everything, but he needs the coach’s trust. One place in attack is already occupied by Thomas Muller, which is where I see Havertz.’
