Burna Boy Sets New Record On Billboard Charts [Photos]

Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu known professionally as Burna Boy is a Nigerian singer,songwriter and rapper born on the 2nd of July 1991 to Samuel and Bose Ogulu.

Burna Boy rose to prominence in 2012 following the release of his addictive RnB influenced single “Like to party” which was the lead single of his debut studio album “L.I.F.E” which means Leaving an Impact For Eternity.

The Port Harcourt-Born singer has since then released several hit songs like “Tonight”,” Soke”,”Don Gorgon”,”Amorawa”,”Gbona”,”On the low” and many others to maintain his pace and credibility in the Nigerian music industry.

He rose to international mainstream following his record deal with Warner Music group and Atlantic Records in 2017.

The record label made Burna Boy’s sound heard globally following massive supports and promotions of his “Outside” and his Grammy Nominated “African Giant” album.

While we are anticipating the release of Burna Boy’s fifth studio album “Twice as Tall”, some new massive jinx and records got broken by the musician in no time following his recent collaboration with English Singer ” Sam Smith”.

Firstly, Burna Boy earns his first ever Billboard Bubbling under hot 100 (#12)entry with “My oasis”.

Secondly,Burna Boy earns his second Billboard Canadian Hot 100 entry with ” My oasis”.
